Worship Times & Styles

Saturday Worship Services are held at 5:00 pm year round. These services are a more casual, "come as you are," style.

Sunday Worship Services are held (Sept-May):

Worship at 8:30 am often includes special music from the Choir, Hand Bells, or Brass Band.

Worship at 11:00 am is led by one of our two Praise Bands.

Summer Sunday Worship Services are held at 10:00 am. (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.)

Wednesday Worship Services are held at 6:15 pm energetic, camp-style service lead by our worship leader and guitar players. This service offers many new and different songs and lessons. Dancing is often seen with our upbeat songs.

Welcome is a common theme within our worship services. Our fully accessible building serves as a welcoming space. The order of worship, scripture readings, and words to the songs are all projected on a screen at the front of the church, making it easy to follow along and participate in worship. As a congregation, we take time to personally connect with each other before, during and after the service.

Zion's worship styles enjoy a blend of traditional and contemporary music and liturgy using the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnal as our primary worship resource. The pastors often incorporate videos and other illustrations to communicate the message.
