Dear friends of Zion,
As I write you this letter, I cannot help but reflect on Isaiah 43:19, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." He has already begun! Given the new approach to worship both online and now moving into “in person”, we are reminded that only he can make the pathways and the rivers. For those of you that have been able to join us online, we have been greatly blessed with the new technology to reach us in our homes and the awesome abilities of our staff and pastors to adapt to this new way of worship. I have been amazed by their commitment to making worship as engaging as possible, given the circumstances. We will continue to offer online worship, for anyone who wishes to join virtually in real time or at a later time via the recording(s) on our website.
We are readying ourselves and our sanctuary to; once again, be able to worship together in person, safely. As the elected President of the Zion Council, I can assure you that many extra meetings, emails, phone calls, etc have taken place in preparing to reopen the doors of our church. We have missed you!
Your safety and the safety of others has been paramount in the decisions we have made and the guidelines we have set forth during this transition. Those guidelines can be found by clicking the blue button.
As we move forward, I ask you to prayerfully consider your own family, the staff, congregants, and leaders of our church while adhering to these provisional changes. Personally, I am a creature of habit and change is oftentimes forced on me; and after my initial resistance, I have found that rarely has that change had a negative impact on my life.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us be mindful of the current condition of our country and our world in embracing small inconveniences to once again be able to worship in person.

If you need anything, please call the church (701-852-1872) Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm & Friday from 8:00 am - Noon. The phones will be forwarded to office staff working from home. Summer office hours will be by appointment only until further notice.
