Event Sign-ups, Registrations & Serving Schedules
Family Faith Time: September 2019
This starts in September, the same weeks our Zion LIFE Groups will be in session. There will be no Church School or Confirmation (for grades 6-8) during the month of September so this is a new way for us to connect as individual family units.
Each family unit will receive a faith “toolkit” to be used during Family Faith Time and throughout the week at home. Register early to ensure enough supplies.
Family Faith Time will take place the following dates and times:
Sundays: September 8, 15, & 22 from 9:45-10:45 am
Wednesdays: September 11, 18, & 25 from 4:30-5:30 pm OR 7:00-8:00 pm
Nursery will be available for children 0-4 years of age if needed.
Moms On A Mission - Book Study Group for Stay-At-Home Moms
Meets weekly @ 9 am on Mondays in the Youth Room—group for stay-at-home moms. First meeting will be September 9th.
We will be reading and discussing “Grace Not Perfection” by Emily Ley.
Childcare is $5/week and is provided by 2 individuals right here at Zion.
Minot State University - Lutheran Campus Ministries Soup Days
For this first Soup Day of the 2019-20 school year, we are doing something a little bit different.
On Sunday, September 8th at noon, Zion members will make soup together as part of our ELCA God's Work Our Hands project. Soup ingredients will be provided. Sign-up if you are able to make soup with us.
Be a servant in the Lutheran Campus Ministries Soup Ministry by signing up to bring food, transport, serve or clean-up. MSU Soup Days have been feeding 200-300 students each week.
Annual Lutefisk & Meatball Dinner: September 21st
Uff Da! It's that time of year again and we are looking for volunteers for our annual Lutefisk Dinner.
Sign-up to help with tickets, seat guests, work in kitchen, serve in the dining room, wash dishes and clean-up or help peal potatoes the night before. Childcare is available upon request.
Other areas you may help:

SOUL Sisters - Book Study for Stay-At-Home Moms
Fed & Forgiven Family Workshop: October 16th
At the Fed & Forgiven Workshop, you and your family will explore and learn about the sacrament of Holy Communion through a variety of hands on activities.
Fed & Forgiven Workshop is a two-part workshop held twice a year (spring and fall). Together, these workshops will provide your family with a broader understanding of Communion from a Lutheran perspective. You may attend the workshops in any order but families are encouraged to attend both workshops at some point.
